I am tearing my air out here - I submitted 2 books to the Apple ibook store one in English and one in French, both identical in every way apart from the language. The English version has been accepted with no problems, the French version has been bounced back 3 times!
The first message about the Authors name is and has always been in the first name / last name format - so I don't understand what they are trying to get at here

Thanks carol-ann. I will send another request to them. I think I may have sorted the problem, weirdly after searching google and finding the same problem being experience by another author with another ebook website who submit to apple. I think, from what i can gather, your titles, names etc have to match exactly to what is typed into the author and title fields in the ebook software before you submit it to apple, so fingers crossed, I've adjusted everything and resubmitted both books with exactly the same info on the title pages and entry fields :-)

Ive resubmitted my book, I've taken out extra pages, page numbers and I've made sure that the title, subtitle and author name match exactly to the book information - but I'm still getting the same message as you did above - any tips? thanks emma
Hi Emma, How quickly are iBooks rejecting your new submissions? With mine I was getting rejection e-mails within 24 hours and Blurb told me to ignore them as the corrected submission would take at least a week to be checked and accepted or rejected and then I got an acceptance e-mail from iBooks a week later. Hope this helps.
