VolgenDo I centre content to the page or to the safe art boundary
Hey,
I've set up my grid and now I'm confused as to whether I should centre to these to the page or to the safe art boundary, this is particularly relevant for the first and last page as there is text and I really don't want it to look off centre. Can anybody let me know which I should do?
Thanks

I have the same problem with centering my image on the cover page, using booksmart. There is no indication how far the binding groove, that runs along the spine and on to the front cover, will affect the image on the cover. After printing two different books I have had very different results each time. Can Blurb provide an answer?
I would like to know this answer too...
Did anyone ever get an answer to this question? i have it too.
I also would like the answer please!
Does anyone have the answer to this?
I want borders too... 2 years ago, they say they are working on it..... Well, it is time!
Me too!! Why has this not been answered yet? Surely this instruction is incredibly important to all of their customers.
Hi there! We recommend centering content to the trim line. If you use InDesign to create your book, the centre of the page lies between the book gutter and the black trim line. https://support.blurb.com/hc/en-us/articles/207792876
If you use Bookwright to create your book, you can move your image on the page until a vertical blue line appears, which indicates the centre of the page. https://support.blurb.com/hc/en-us/articles/207792656
