Page Numbers in BookWright

I would like to start my page numbering on p6, with the first number being 6, however this is not possible in Bookwright. Page numbering starts on page 1 and if you want to delete numbers 1 - 5, the only way to do it is to cover the page number with an image....This is a totally cumbersome and ridiculous solution!!! I tried to do this by creating a plain white image which worked in the PDF test version, but not in the printed version. You can start page numbers on p 6, but it starts with the number 1.
Has anyone else found a simple way around this problem?
I am suggesting this as a Feature request.

Hi,

you can try to set page number from 1st page, then delete page number from page 1 to 5.

Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately you can't delete individual pages in bookwright.

You are correct, this is a current limitation in page numbering. Unfortunately, your work-around is the only way to accomplish what you'd like for now - you must cover up the page number on the pages. You can use an image or text that is the same color as the page background to place on top of the page number.

Thanks for replying. I hope blurb take this on board. The whole process of changing page numbers is extremely clunky.
