If you're using a Blurb-assign/free ISBN, you won't know the ISBN until you upload the book to Blurb. You would have to purchase it on your own to be able to know it and put it on your copyright page. This was a bummer for me when I was creating the book, but I'll know next time.
How do I use ISBN in copyright page if I don't know it before ordering (book write)?
I am using book write to make a trade book that is a photography book. I am currently writing the copyright page but there are no templates for that with hints. Also- I know they will assign an ISBN number to my book and put it on the back, but the copyright page should have the isbn number as well. But how do I enter that if I don't know the ISBN number until after I order?

This seems to be major issue, you can't know the ISBN until you've uploaded your PDF, but you can't upload the PDF with the correct ISBN. This seems to be a major oversight in the Blurb workflow, there should be a way to get the ISBN so you can put it in the book. The only place the correct ISBN can appear will be on the Blurb-generated back cover.
Hi Amber - If you happen to use the Blurb plug-in for InDesign you will be able to add a free Blurb ISBN in your book. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to learn more about this. For books created with all other creation this option is not available at the moment, and you will know the ISBN after uploading your book.
