Text writing and editing in BookWright

When using BookSmart there is a recognised problem with text flow from page to page. There has previously been discussion related to it. The advice from Blurb has been to investigate BookWright. So I have given it a good try. But as yet I'm not a convert. Why?

The text overflow problem seems to work fine in BookWright. But I don't understand why the whole business of writing text in the box that it is going to be published in so you can constantly see how it will basically appear when published has been lost. Now the text that you write appears in a tiny box at the very bottom of the page that only shows a couple of lines of text. You get no idea of how it will fit the actual page/textbox. If it was required for IT developers to invent a new systems why couldn't they have repaired  BookSmart rather than start a new product that has an unfortunate and basic difficulty.

I have just started a BookWright book, and I cannot enter text on the page..

I came to Blurb for help and I find this comment.  I AGREE!!!  I need to be able to SEE the text exactly as it will appear on the page! Is it possible that this writer and I both misunderstand BookWright and we should actually be able to see the text?

I am very frustrated at not being able to add text into text boxes on my standard book.  This has delayed production of the book which means now that the bride will not be able to get it on her wedding day to give to her groom.  So sad.
