FedEx tracking information is wrong
My Fedex tracking information is wrong. Why does my Fedex tracking show the wrong city/state/destination/date?
Occasionally Fedex recycles their tracking numbers and the tracking page may display information from another shipment, in addition to, or instead of yours.
If you are seeing the following when tracking your order, please wait 24 hours for FedEx to scan and update their system:
- Package being shipped to the wrong location.
- Package marked as delivered in the past (ie. in 2012)
This information is a remnant of the recycled number and will be updated with the correct information once Fedex refreshes their data.
If you don't see a change after 24 hours please contact customer support.
