Hit with the 240 page limit in Lightroom...

...but I need about 30 more pages to finish the book.  I know this is possible in Booksmart.  Has anyone found a way to take the book layout from Lightroom and somehow get it into Booksmart to add more than 240 pages?  If not, I'm faced with either redoing the entire book in Booksmart, or deleting pages to make it under the 240 page limit.  Any ideas?

This a problem for me too. Why is there a limitation for Lightroom yet they can be longer in Blurb?

I hit the 240 limit in school books and I am also waiting for a response as to what format would give the option of over 400 pages like they say they can do. Still havent heard. If anyone else knows what format I can make a 370 page book please let me know.  Its my 3rd day waiting for answer.

My understanding is that 240 pages is the limit for the thicker papers because that is the maximum that the spine will support. The spine of a 240-page book with the thickest paper (proline pearl) is over 3 cm wide. Presumably Blurb have decided that spines wider than that are likely to fall apart. Only the end pages of a hard cover book are attached to the spine, and only by paper and glue; Blurb stopped using stitching a few years ago. You can have more pages if you use the thinner (standard) paper, but this paper is not supported in Lightroom. So you will need to use Booksmart, Bookify or InDesign, or try to persuade Blurb to incorporate a standard paper option into Lightroom.

Yeah.  I am finding this issue too.  With the Standard (thinner) paper, Blurb allows 400+ pages, seems a shame that Lightroom doesn't support that.

I did find that you can switch your Book Settings to: Book: PDF (top right in Book Module) and then you can have as many pages as you wish.  Perhaps you could then same the PDF file, and I believe there is a way to send Blurb a PDF file and they can print the book that way.  Not sure but worth a try.

There is some info here, but I haven't tried it or read thru it in detail:
