very very frustrating
I have found the auto-flowing text containers using the offered layouts but would much prefer to create my own layout and then lock it and be able to use auto-flow text. I have been using Blurb for a few years now to create books which are a mixture of poetry, prose and photos. The text flow is a major obstacle!
Has this changed? I turned off auto flow to customise the text boxes & now can't auto flow again!
Are you ever going to allow it?
Hopefully this will be available soon. I'm used to being able to do this in Publisher, and I wonder why it's not available here.
At this time we do not have any plans for adding this feature to BookSmart, however it is an option in our new BookWright software.
I totally agree that the inability to connect personalized text containers so that text flows automatically from one into the other is a MAJOR flaw in BookSmart. I did not find any useful templates for my book -- a photo album with accompanying family stories -- so needed to create my own templates. Now getting the stores (the text) into the pages is a REAL HASSLE. Please Please add this !!
this is a very frustrating flaw which Blurb really needs to address: the whole idea of a book is to be able to add text! You an do photo flow - so why not text Agrhhh
I agree-- would very much like Auto Flow for text boxes!
