I would also like to know how to use "Smart Quotes". When I look in the Help section, it says to go to a Keynote, but no info on how to get to keynote....
Conversation Text and quotes
I have the requirement to place some quotes around pictures and also some conversation between three parties.
Any suggestions on how to do either task in BookWright?
(If it matters, I am on a Mac using the Basic White Landscape template).

I thought I would post this here, since someone else brought up "Smart Quotes" in this thread.
Unfortunately, smart quotes or curly quotes are not automatically created in the app. You need to use a custom keystroke for that (or you may be able to paste formatted text which may have curly quotes already). From the help, here are those keystrokes, for Mac and PC:
Mac PC Function
command+[ ctrl+[ Open double quote
command+] ctrl+] Close double quote
command+shift+[ ctrl+shift+[ Open single quote
command+shift+] ctrl+shift+] Close single quote
Actually, I have tried to use the codes I mentioned in the comments here, but I can't get it to work on PC. I wasn't going to bother with smart quotes previously, but decided I would convert them after all. It's tedious, but I'm copying and pasting text from BookWright to Word, then doing Find and Replace ' for ' and " for ". This converts in Word to smart quotes, and you can paste the text back into BookWright. You probably need to change the font back and forth, so as I said super tedious. But it's another way to review the text with a different spell check engine (because results can vary).
