Is it possible to use Booksmart to create an 8x10 trade book?

I am working on an 8x10 trade book, and Booksmart appears to be a bit easier and has more features than Bookwright.  However, I've noticed that when you start a new book and click on the page size for trade book, the only available paper size is 6"x9".  Has anyone else run into that problem?  And, if so, did you find a way around it so you can create an 8x10 trade book using Booksmart?

Please answer this! I've been formatting a 300 page 8x10 project on Blurb for months now thinking that it would cost $30. However, after uploading it I cannot find a way to get the pricing of a trade book. This is extremely disheartening as there is no way I can afford $130 for a book.

megzamillion andkpeterson27: bad news, I'm afraid.

As you'll see when opening BookSmart there is no option to make Trade book in the 8x10 format. Our Trade 8x10 is different than the Standard Portrait photo book 8x10 and one can't converted to the other, unfortunately. So if you'd like to make a Trade 8x10 book you'll need to start a new one in BookWright. It's not possible to convert a Standard Portrait photo paper book into an 8x10 Trade book.

If you'd like to make use of the Economy paper options those aren't available for Pocket or Trade books in BookSmart. (You can choose from either Standard uncoated or Black and White uncoated papers).

For the Economy paper options please make your book in BookWright. The good news is that if you made a Pocket (5x8) or 6x9 Trade book in BookSmart and want to use the Economy paper option, you can import your book into BookWright.

If you have additional questions please contact customer support.

No answer to this yet?  I'm in the same situation of working on a project based on the idea that I can get and 8x10 trade book because it is listed on the website as being available.  Maybe there is yet another software program that can do it?
