I've just completed a 134 page book for my brother, it contained text and photos. I used BookSmart, it has come out really well. I chose my text layout pages and copied and pasted all the text, then added photos afterwards, I came up against quite a few issues when making changes so be really careful as it can be quite frustrating. You can change your page layout even though you have text and photos on it but it will affect following pages. Best to play with it first to find out what you can and can't do.
Hi, I'm new to this. I wish to create a hard copy book with 80% text and 20% photos. Which Blurb product would you recommend?
My book will be fairly short, about 3,000 words, but most of it will be text (80%) with only a few photos (20% if that). Which Blurb product does the community recommend? TY.

Hi SurvivorTM. Please contact customer support for assistance.
As to the original question, a text-heavy book might do best as our Trade or Pocket format, both of which can be made in our free BookSmart software or via our InDesign plug-in (for advanced users with access to InDesign).
