Want your image to completely cover a Wall Art print? You're looking for a full bleed layout. A full bleed layout completely covers the entire print with no white edges.

Canvas and metal formats both have a red dotted trim line within the magenta print safe area. If you want a full bleed layout in BookWright, make sure that the edges of your image reach the outer edges of the magenta print safe area. This will ensure you don't have any unwanted white edges in your printed art.

There wouldn't be a red dotted trim line for the acrylic Wall Art format, but you would still need to make sure that the edges of your image reach the outer edges of the print.

How to design a full bleed layout 

Select a full bleed layout by dragging it onto a print. Full bleed layouts are the completely grey layouts shown under Layouts, with no white edges around them. You can also simply drop the photo onto the print and adjust it.

Position or zoom your image so its edges reach all the way to the outer edge of the print. If you are creating a canvas or metal format, don't stop just at the red dotted trim line.

Good: designed to the edge

Here's a properly-designed full bleed image (in this case for an acrylic wall art print). Notice how the edges of the image reach all the way to the outer edge of the wall art. 

If you zoom in (using the slider at the top of BookWright) you'll see how the image goes all the way to the edge. Be sure to check all four edges to ensure they're all covered.

You can temporarily hide the print safe area to get a better look at the edge:

Here's a close-up of what it looks like if your image (or background color) doesn't go all the way to the edge of your wall art. Notice the white strip, which will appear in your printed wall art as well.
