Dimensions for a single file PDF

  • Updated

Using Blurb's PDF uploader to upload a single PDF with the cover and pages in a single PDF file? Then, instead of the cover and pages specifications on our PDF specifications page, create your single file PDF with the page specifications only.

  • If you're uploading a single-file PDF then the Page size/Trim line measurements are what you'll use to set up the document in whatever page layout program you're using.
  • The Final, exported PDF should measure dimensions are what your entire PDF must be.

Check your PDF

Once you export your PDF,  open it in Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Reader and go to File>Document Properties. The page size you see there must match the "Final, exported PDF should measure..." measurements seen in our PDF specifications page. (And every page in the file must be the same size!)

If your PDF is the wrong size, go back to the original document and check your document page size and bleed settings and try exporting again.
