We have a variety of free tools you can use to make a book. Need help deciding which tool to use to create your book? Please consider these three questions when determining which book-making tool to use.
1. What type of book are you planning on making?
Are you making a photo book, a trade book, an ebook, or a magazine? Not all of Blurb’s tools make every book type Blurb has to offer, and this decision will help you choose the right tool to use.
2. How much time do you have to create your book?
The thing most people don't consider is how much time they want to spend on making their book. Whether it’s a couple days, a month, or more, decide upfront how much time you are willing to invest in your project.
3. Are you already experienced with other tools?
Have you used BookWright in the past? Do you already work with Adobe InDesign or Lightroom for other projects? Or if you already have a book in PDF format, you can use our specifications calculator to fine-tune your PDF to any book size.
Save yourself time and focus on getting the book design exactly to your liking by using what you already know. Don’t get caught up trying to learn to use a design tool you aren't comfortable with. In addition to our downloadable and online book-making tools, Blurb accepts PDFs from just about any program.
