Are you trying to start BookSmart, but nothing seems to happen?
Sometimes BookSmart gets stuck in an open state, so it's running in the background even though you can't see it open on your screen. This prevents the program from starting up the next time you try to use it. To fix this, either restart your machine or manually shut down BookSmart and try again.
Manually shut down BookSmart
On a Mac:
- Open Activity Monitor found in Applications > Utilities
- Locate the Blurb BookSmart process under My Processes
- Click Quit Process
On a PC:
- Open Windows Task Manager by clicking Control-Shift-Esc
- Click the Processes tab
- Click to select the BookSmart.exe process
- Click End Process
