Customs Duties

  • Some countries collect customs fees (aka import taxes or import duties) on our products, just like other imported merchandise that crosses international borders. 
  • Due to the local customs-collection process, this may result in a later delivery time than the date that was originally estimated in the shipping calculator. We can't offer shipping refunds due to customs delays.
  • Any local duties, customs and taxes that apply must be paid by the recipient upon delivery. See the screenshot below, which shows the warning displayed at checkout on the "Place Order" page.

Product and country-specific duties

EU countries
Premium magazines, Photo books and Premium Lustre Layflat books are not subject to customs duties in EU countries.

Economy magazines may be subject to customs duties, since they are printed in the US.

Layflat books with Mohawk ProPhoto Pearl or Mohawk Superfine Eggshell may be subject to customs duties since they are printed in and shipped from the US.


Trade and Pocket books created with BookSmart may be subject to customs duties since they are printed in and shipped from the US.

 

Sales Tax/VAT/GST

We collect VAT/GST and sales tax based on the shipping address of the order. (Digital items may be taxed on the billing address). Click on the links below to get more information:
