Image Requirements for BookWright

Photo Books, Trade Books and Magazines

Images used in your BookWright Photo book, Trade book or Magazine should be: 

  • JPG, JPEG, or PNG format
  • RGB, sRGB, CMYK, or greyscale color profile. Note that CMYK images will not display properly if used in a BookWright ebook. If you plan to make an ebook in BookWright use RGB, sRGB or greyscale.
  • Between 250-300dpi at the size of your image container for the best quality print
  • Maximum 75 megapixels* 

 

Wall Art

Images used in your BookWright Wall Art should be:

  • JPG, JPEG, or PNG format
  • RGB, sRGB, CMYK, or greyscale color profile.
  • Between 90-300dpi at the size of your image container. 
  • Maximum 75 megapixels*

*Pixel Count, expressed as MP or Megapixels, is calculated by multiplying the number of horizontal pixels by the number of vertical pixels. As an example, a 3 MP camera has 2,048 (horizontal) x 1,536 (vertical) pixels, or 3,145,728 pixels.

Images that fall under our recommended DPI will be flagged in the software as low resolution and as always, we recommend you check your image quality even if you don’t see a warning.
